Curly Parsley 'petroselinum crispum curly' Finely curled, compact dark green leaves, very productive. Early herbalists believed this herb to be a diuretic for kidney problems, fluid accumulation and a substitute for quinine to treat malaria. It is very high in Vitamins A and C and is an excellent natural breath freshener, digestive aid and tea to treat high blood pressure and rheumatism. More compact growing than the standard garden variety. It is best treated as an annual since once the plant sends up a flower the leaves turn bitter. Parsley makes a superb edging plant.

Required average well-drained soil and can handle moist sites but not consistently wet.
Space plants 12 inches apart in rows 18 - 22 inches apart
Harvest throughout the season cutting 3 inches above the ground to allow for regrowth
